two...

I've been on a roll lately. There are a bunch of DTs I want to try out for (still don't think I'm good enough though!), a bunch of inspirational challenges, and just A TON of eye candy everywhere that all I do is think of is sitting down to scrap! *lol*

Thankfully my son is going through a HUGE growth spurt right now... he's eating a ton and sleeping a LOT. Gives me time to work on a few LOs!

Here are a couple I did these past couple of days. I placed a big order through ScrapGal and I couldn't wait to play with the CherryArte paper!

supplies: cardstock: Prism; patterned paper: CherryArte; pen, chipboard letters: American Crafts

And then I did this LO for the HMITM challenge this week. 10 buttons, 10 stickers, 10 stamps... Whew! That was a lot. But it made a tiny dent in my stash so I'm happy about that. I'm going to try and participate more often. It was a lot of fun!

supplies: cardstock: Bazzill, Prism; patterned paper: CherryArte; letter stickers: American Crafts; letter stamps: Hero Arts; other stamp: Fontwerks; stamping ink: ColorBox; pen: American Crafts; other: buttons

Super duper fun scrap week... I'm going to try and get another LO done this weekend! :)

wii drama.

Ok, here's a little unknown fact (well, I'm sure Rinne knows this about me and my hubby)... We're huge GAMERS. *lol* Can you believe that? Me. Little ol' me. A gamer.

I was hanging out with my friends once and my friend tells my other friend (this was when I was pregnant), "This child is going to be born into a house that's pure FUN and JOY. Do you know how many video games they have?"

Yup, it's true. We have lots.

But what we don't have is a Nintendo Wii. At first I was ok not getting one. But now I want one. It looks like fun. And so I've been tempted to get one ever since Friday.

I didn't think it would be SOLD OUT all over the place!!! My obsession began on Monday and I've been calling random places ever since.

Ugh. And we have a party with friends on Sunday night and I think it would be so much to have at the party. Cross you fingers that I get lucky before then!!!

feelin' lazy

It may not look like it, but I've actually gotten quite a bit of scrapping done since my last few posts... I'm just being lazy with scanning. I think I have 5 LOs done.

I'm hesitating on posting a few of them here because I might be using them to enter design team calls and other contests... You know those rules: "Layouts may not be on any other site or forum or gallery..."

Is that true? For those who are pubbed or on DTs or have won contests, do you really get "in trouble" for posting the same LO in multiple galleries?

Please answer (I know a ton of you visit my site but never comment!)... I'm really curious...

And another question for those who use multiple scrapbook sites:

When you create LOs, do you upload them to every scrapbook gallery you're a part of? Two Peas, scrapbook.com, Scrap Supply, etc?

Thanks in advance!

plug it in. :)

Here's a plug for my pal Suzy and her daughter Angel. :) Angel and her hubby Christian were on MTV's Engaged and Underage last night. :)

I absolutely ADORE Suzy and her whole family. I've known Angel since she was a pre-teen and pre-Christian! It's so heartwarming and wonderful to see the two of them together. They're wonderful to each other and wonderful parents. :) So awesome.

There's a Shaped Card Challenge going on over at AMM so I decided to give it a try... I'm in love with circles right now, so I gave my Coluzzle a workout! *lol* I love that thing! :)

little *toot*

One of my biggest goal for my scrapbooking hobby is to either get published or be a part of a design team. *sigh* Can I do it? I hope so... But there are so many talented gals out there, my stuff doesn't even compare. But it's sure nice to dream. :)

I do have a little *toot* for myself... my Go Big or Go Home layout was chosen for Layout of the Day last week (Thanks, Melissa!) over at A Million Memories and my Big Yawn layout was featured in their article this week (Thanks Michelle and Alison! :)...

Yay me! Carl was really proud of me too. :)

sunday fun...

Had a super busy and emotionally exhausting Saturday with my son's baptism. Too much food. Too much chaos. Too much family. I'm worn out!

So while it takes me a while to catch my bearings, I'll leave you with this little clip from the fabulous You Tube... It always puts a smile on my face. :)

card box and 2 cards...

Needed something to put all of my completed cards in so I fancied up a box. :) I finished it a while ago, but I finally had a chance to take a pic of it. :)

And I made a card for my dad for Father's day... It's a pic of him and my son when Jonah was only a few days old...

And this is a thank you card I made to give to our priest today... It was Jonah's baptism day. :) We've been super busy all week!
I don't know what was up with the crappy scans. Ugh...

u r here mini book

A few weeks ago I took a class at a LSS and made this cute little book with the theme "U R Here"... I thought it would be a neat little vacation book and it reminded me of the beach so I used it to scrap our adventures from our visit to Maui last year...

Created with fd's Flickr Toys.

Love this little book! It's inspiring me to make more mini albums (once I find the time! *lol*

been a busy week...

Sorry for the lack of updates - It's only the first week of June and I've been super busy. Between bouncing from visiting family, Carl's birthday, a wedding, a graduation, etc. I haven't had the time to sit down and scrap! I hate going through long hiatuses - my mojo slowly diminishes with them. Ugh. Hopefully I will get to sit down and do something creative soon...

Stay tuned!
